Good Morning. 馃尭 As I sit here in the quiet this morning, I reflect on the last several weeks. Life has brought some challenges. Nothing drastic but you know, those curve balls that temporarily alter the trajectory of your daily plan? It’s when the road you are traveling goes from smooth to bumpy or to downright jagged…

Sometimes, life’s curve balls are something small and inconvenient and other times it shatters a window and can be stuff that brings you to your knees and can overtake you if you let it. How do you get through it? How do you keep going when you know you need to but the rest of you is not on board? Just keep that “Window of Hope” open or in some cases, just FIND your Window of Hope!

I hate to clean windows but could not imagine living without them in my home. Everyone is different, but I love what a window does for a room – any room! It can be a little room, an office, a classroom, a bedroom, or even a room on a cruise ship.

鈥婭t can be a large picture window or just a little window in a bathroom. It just makes things seem bigger. Windows let stuff in and let stuff out. A window changes the perspective. You can see out! A window changes things!

No matter how you think about it, windows are an opening, an opening to hope and possibilities. We may not always see it at the time, but how many have heard the saying, “When He closes a door, He opens a window?” Find that window!

As I sit here with my coffee this morning and think about all of you and whatever you are going through, find your “Window of Hope”. It can be so easy for circumstances and life to overtake us. We need hope. Encourage yourself! For me, it is often found in music, a reflective walk, and in my faith. Sometimes we need the comfort of others but there are times that even then, it is not enough because you might find yourself alone in your challenge. You may feel like you don’t have the strength but when that is all you have, you might find that you have more than you think you do. Find the strength to keep going.

There is an analogy about faith and strength. It only needs to be small to become huge. In other words, you don’t need a lot of it! Maybe you only have a little faith or strength right now but using it and exercising it builds more. You might have to dig deep, but that’s ok. We can do hard things.

If you feel like you don’t have the strength to make it through your challenge today, don’t give up on yourself. Hope is powerful and can be the thing you need to help you find the strength to make it.

I am sharing a song that has gotten me through many challenges when I thought I was done, when my feelings and my mind were not aligned and some days it was just one foot in front of the other. My wish for you is that it brings you encouragement, peace and perhaps opens that “Window of Hope” that you need!

Thank you, Jennifer, for sharing this. Your words are like a healing balm to my soul. Anxiety has been such a struggle for me lately, and today has been a “dig deep” kind of day for me. A S-t-r-e-t-c-h-i-n-g my faith kind of day. You are a blessing, and I am thankful for you.
