Ingredients:
3-5# Chuck Roast
1 packet of Italian Dressing Mix
1/2 can sliced jalape帽os, drained
1/2 stick butter
salt & pepper

This is the easiest recipe! If you are short on time and have a few ingredients, toss it all in and you have a great meal! This was adapted from the Mississippi Pot Roast you can find online.

Chuck Roast was on sale, so I picked one up. When I got home, I didn’t have the usual ingredients for what I normally make, but I did have a packet of Italian dressing mix and half a can of sliced jalape帽os.

I seasoned the beef with salt & pepper and a Traeger Beef Rub (optional), browned it in some fat (you can skip this step if short on time), added the dressing packet & drained jalape帽os, and 1/2 stick of butter. I cooked this on high for about 6-8 hours, shredded it with all the fat and juices and served it with Chef Scott’s Cauliflower Steaks from the End Your Carb Confusion Cookbook. You could serve it with whatever you like!
